Deep Down

The silence is frightening;

I am forced to deal.

You have a grip on my breathing that seems to be tightening;

I HATE to feel.

The sadness I cannot bare,

For I wrestle with fate.

The only reflection is my empty, stare.

My stomach turns at the thought of being late.

Parts of me begin to surface;

There is no hiding…

It’s meant for me to find my purpose.

Maybe it’s there that love will find me?

I’ve NEVER agreed with farewell.

Timing is the key;

For societal, life is a cell!

One day it shall be.
