Subconsciously

I am either over flowing with emotions that defeat logic or my thoughts are eagerly bouncing about like a game of ping pong in hope that my indecisiveness may become dormant.

  1. Hey! Cool post! 🙂

I’m personally having a lot of difficulties about indecisiveness as well!

What has really helped me was to understand how to make decisions!

Most of the time, we are told to make follow our gut feeling when being unsure about what decision to make.
Research has actually revealed that gut decision don’t directly come from the gut or heart (obvious) but originate from our limbic system in our brain (limbic system is responsible for emotions and feelings).

Longitudinal studies have constantly shown that people who make decisions via their ‘gut’, in other words use their emotions they feel in that situation, tend to make decisions that yield more positive outcomes than those who use the rational part of the brain (Neocortex). Even if the gut decision goes against all rational and logical thoughts.

Just thought I’d share this with you as I use to have a big problem with being indecisive as well…

    Keep it up! 🙂

    1. I believe I end up with emotion making the decision, however, the battle between emotion and logic weighs it toll. I come from family that raised me to be logical, but I am finding the logical decisions made in emotional situations do not feel satisfying. Logic leads to success, emotion leads to happiness is my new motto. I definitely agree! Thank you for sharing. Incredibly helpful! ❤️
